Who we are

Owner Darlisha Averitte founded Jane’s Jam and Jelly in honor of her late mother, Jane Harden. With a deep passion for urban gardening, Darlisha has spent over 15 years cultivating a thriving garden filled with fresh herbs, vegetables, fruit trees-right in her own backyard.

In addition to her flourishing garden, she also cares for four chickens (Ophelia, Cora, Florence, Esther) and her energetic dog, Asher. Her love for homegrown produce naturally led to the creation of homemade jams and jellies. Her first and most devoted customer? Her mother, Jane, who encouraged her to share these delicious creations with the world.

And so, Jane’s Jam and Jelly was born.
